Kwido participates in the V International Silver Economy Congress in Zamora
Kwido, as a leading member of the Silver Ecosystem in Europe, will take part in the next international meeting V International Silver Economy Congress to be held in Zamora.
Specifically, on Friday 24th, Iñaki Bartolomé will participate at 11.15am in the Entrepreneurship, Services and Social Economy round table with the presentation “Learnings and future trends in the use of technology for the care of the elderly”.
Kwido already collaborates with the Zamora Provincial Council in the monitoring of the elderly with sensors and Artificial Intelligence and advises on the incorporation of new technologies to increase their autonomy.

What is the Silver Economy International Congress?
The 5th International Silver Economy Congress has become a benchmark in the field of active ageing, care and the provision of services to our elders.
The Royal Household has confirmed Queen Sofia’s honorary presidency of the 5th International Silver Economy Congress, which will be held in Zamora on 23, 24 and 25 November.
When and where will the event take place?
The 5th International Silver Economy Congress will be held in Zamora from 23 to 25 November at the Ramos Carrión Theatre.
Who is it aimed at?
The conference, organised by the Zamora Provincial Council’s Department of Entrepreneurship and European Funds within the framework of the Silver Economy Strategy.
One of its objectives is to contribute to improving the quality of life and care of the elderly, promoting the introduction of these innovations in the benefits and services they receive.
It also aims to boost economic activity by stimulating the creation of innovative business projects that respond to the needs of the silver community.
These aims contribute to the creation of quality employment and the fight against depopulation.
All this, in line with the HUB of innovation in the care sector that the Provincial Council is going to set up in the scientific and technological park of La Aldehuela in collaboration with the Junta de Castilla y León.
More than a thousand participants from all over Spain and other European countries have already registered to take part in this congress.
It will also be possible to follow the congress online via the Zamora Provincial Council’s YouTube channel.
Attendees will include healthcare professionals, companies and workers in the care sector. Members of professional associations, university students and representatives of social and economic agents will also be present. Third sector organisations and members of the university community will also attend.

“Emprende Zamora” is a service attached to the Department of Entrepreneurship and European Funds of Zamora Provincial Council.
The mission of this service is:
- To promote entrepreneurship and business development in rural areas of the province in order to contribute to economic revitalisation,
- to promote the Silver Economy as a new source of innovation and employment,
- to develop initiatives that promote demographic settlement in the province.
