Kwido increases its position as a leading European provider by being selected for a pioneering advanced telecare project in the Veneto region by ISRAA, funded by the Italian PNRR program and the Municipality of Treviso.
We have great news to share. Our track record in Italy, highlighted by the success of innovative projects like MildSight, has paved the way for a new and ambitious challenge: the transformation of home care in Treviso.
Treviso and the support of Italy’s National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), Kwido’s technology platform has been chosen to bring professional care into the homes of the region’s residents.
This new project, called “AiA: Abitare in Autonomia” is not just a continuation, but an evolution. While MildSight demonstrated the effectiveness of our technology for cognitive stimulation and monitoring in the region.
We are now scaling our impact to create a home care model that will serve as a benchmark for all of Italy with more that 100 initial users.
Cutting-Edge Technology for More Human-Centered Care
The goal is clear: to develop a home care ecosystem that combines professional intervention with data intelligence.
The program is built on two fundamental pillars:
- 1. Technology-Based Personalized Interventions: Healthcare professionals will be able to schedule and monitor personalized care plans.
Directly in users’ homes through the Kwido platform, promoting autonomy and prevention using a tablet.
Interventions based on videos, documents, audios, etc. are combined with intensive contact using 1:1 and group videocalls.
Apart from that, the complete Kwido cognitive stimulation platform is also included.
- 2. AI-Powered Smart Monitoring with Sensors: By installing Kwido Home sensors in homes, our Artificial Intelligence.
Our system will analyze patterns and routines to proactively detect potential risk situations, such as falls, behavioral changes, or health decline, enabling early intervention
A Strategic Step for Kwido in Europe
Being selected for a project of this magnitude, funded by the PNRR, not only validates the robustness and flexibility of our platform but also places us at the forefront of the digitalization of the Silver Economy sector in Europe.
This milestone reinforces our mission: to provide the best technological tools so that organizations can deliver excellent, efficient, and, above all, human-centered care.
The Treviso project is a prime example of how public-private collaboration and advanced technology can come together to achieve one of our society’s greatest challenges: caring for our seniors.
