During this year, Kwido is reaching a high level of maturity, both at a technological level, serving thousands of elderly people in different countries, and at a security and privacy level.
Firstly, Kwido has obtained two certifications, ISO 27001 and ISO 27701 for the design, development, implementation and maintenance services of the KWIDO platform, in both On-Premise and SaaS modalities.
ISO 27001 is an international standard that establishes the requirements for implementing and maintaining an Information Security Management System. Its main objective is to guarantee the confidentiality, integrity and availability of managed data, minimising the risks associated with cyber threats and security breaches.
Also, ISO 27701 complements this standard and focuses on privacy management, ensuring compliance with regulations such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
These certifications not only endorse our good practices, but also represent added value for our customers:
- Greater trust and security: Sensitive data, whether personal or corporate, is protected under the highest quality standards.
- Regulatory compliance: With these certifications, we ensure that our processes comply with international legal requirements.
- Improved risk management: Our systems proactively identify and mitigate potential threats.
In addition, we have received official certification in the National Security Scheme (ENS) category HIGH, a certification issued in Spain that increases the requirements of ISO 27001, as the current ENS standard was designed and published by the Spanish National Cryptologic Centre.
It sets out the security measures that service providers must comply with in order for Spanish government agencies and customers to meet the requirements defined by Royal Decree 311/2022.
What’s more, we have achieved it in the HIGH category, the most important.
