 January 17, 2024

The Pan American Health Organization (PAHO), regional office for the Americas of the World Health Organization (WHO), on behalf of the Social Innovation in Health Initiative (SIHI) recognises the contribution to health equity made by the E Silver project presented by Genos Global in technological alliance with Kwido.

E-Silver implements a community-based approach to developing sustainable solutions, centred on three pillars:

  • Digital literacy, training and social inclusion as enablers to access virtual health services.
  • Telemedicine and cognitive stimulation, thus improving the quality of life of users.
  • The active participation of older adults.

The e-Silver project is defined by a vision: «A people-centred Society 5.0 where everyone can actively age with dignity and autonomy, in a physically and mentally healthy environment, feeling productive, in and with their communities, fully enjoying all their rights».

Kwido is collaborating in the project by offering its technology in the fields of telemedicine and cognitive stimulation.

The project e-Silver is active for months in Betania, La Chorrera and Soná in Veraguas (Panamá).
